Precision neuroimaging of neural responses to psychedelics

Our work focuses on the neural mechanisms by which psychedelics elicit mystical experiences and their psychotherapeutic applications. We take a multimodal approach, using neuroimaging (task & resting-state 7T fMRI and MEG), computational methods (e.g., dynamic causal modelling), behavioural and phenomenological sampling (e.g., microphenomenology & experience sampling), as well as wet lab methods (e.g., RNA & genome sequencing, pluripotent stem cells, induced neuronal cultures) to study epigenetic and neuroimmunological effects of psychedelics. We are supported by the Beckley Foundation.
